During the summer months, we will again present works form the museum franz gertsch's collection in our spacious exhibition rooms. Along with six large scale paintings (Gräser I-IV, Johanna I and Silvia I), an important number of Gertsch's monumental woodcuts will be on display. The selection includes some portraits, works from the Schwarzwasser-series, nature motives such as Pestwurz or Gräser and finaly the latest masterpiece Maria, which belongs to Gertsch's largest woodcuts (almost 400 x 550 cm).
