the guided tours

Our educational department team is looking forward to "infecting" you with their enthusiasm for art and making your visit to the museum franz gertsch an enriching experience. Within the museum's opening hours, tours for private groups and school classes of all ages can be organized to suit your schedule. As well as German-speaking tours, guided tours through the museum in English, French and Italian are also offered.

A tour usually takes approximately one hour, no previous knowledge is necessary. Practical experience can be gained in the workshop room by prior arrangement.

Prices

Per guided tour (1 hour) CHF 150.00 plus admission (more than 6 persons are eligible for a group ticket, CHF 8.00 instead CHF 12.00)

Guided tours in a foreign language cost CHF 200.00.

It is advisable to book one to two weeks in advance of the date of your guided tour.

In addition to individually tailored private tours our museum offers regular public tours on: Wednesdays 5pm, Sundays 11am (1 hour each) "Art break for lunch" Thursdays 12.30pm (20 minutes - one art piece is introduced in depth).
